Types of gas masks

Gas mask is a kind of equipment that can protect people's respiratory system from harmful gases, smoke, paint spray, poisonous gas and other pollutants. A gas mask generally consists of a mask, a filter, and a headband.

Masks: There are two types of masks: soft and hard. Soft masks are made of rubber or silicone, while hard masks are made of plastic or metal-plated. The contact surface of the mask is generally large, with a transparent window, so that you can see the correct situation in front of you.

Filter: The function of the gas mask filter is to filter pollutants such as gas, smoke and dust. Filters are divided into different grades according to the types of pollutants filtered and the concentration of pollutants.

Headband: The gas mask headband is made of elastic material, which can fix the mask on the head, prevent the mask from falling off, and adjust the tightness of the mask so that the whole device fits the face more closely.

Gas masks are widely used, including industrial, medical, military, security and other fields. When using a gas mask, in addition to choosing the correct filter, it is also necessary to check the tightness of the mask and do a good job of cleaning and disinfection to ensure that the gas mask can always effectively protect the respiratory system of personnel.
