How Much Activated Carbon Can Remove Formaldehyde?

The formaldehyde content in particle board is less than 9mg / 100g in E1 standard. If the board used for a panel furniture happens to meet the E1 standard (note that this statement is different from the furniture meeting the E1 standard), the weight is 50kg and the formaldehyde content is 4.5g. Panel furniture will use double-faced panels and edge treatment. The above-mentioned E1 panels can produce furniture that meets E0 requirements (that is, if the furniture itself is marked to comply with E1 standards, its panels may also be manufactured using E2 standard particleboard. For details, see this specification GB18580-2001, but it seems that the new national standard will be released this year) This part of formaldehyde will take a few years to be completely released, and the whole process requires at least 17kg of activated carbon to achieve. In reality, activated carbon will adsorb water vapor, etc., so it is impossible to completely eliminate activated formaldehyde with activated carbon.
